Lifetime Collective teamed up with Keep A Breast












Thursday, November 6, 2008. Lifetime Collective teamed up with Keep A Breast. An exhibit
to help with the battle against breast cancer. The night included the breast cast gallery, customized shoe auction (by PF Flyers Shoes), live music and entertainment, as well as a Lifetime sample sale and all proceeds went to Keep A Breast. A non-profit organization who’s mission is to through the use of art events, fundraising, and educational programs, to increase breast cancer awareness in our youth culture to help them with their future choices about their long-term health and well-being.

Lifetime Collective is a Vancouver based clothing retailer
that seeks to, “promote the passion and creativity long-driven by artists, musicians, skateboarders, snowboarders and free-thinkers of all sorts.”

In this particular art event, Lifetime Collective has created a number of plaster casts of torsos that have been distributed to local artists. The finished designed casts will be distributed and displayed with the Spring ’09 collection at selected Lifetime retailers across North America.

One of the casts that was on displayed is by good friend Melodie Papp, a fine artist who is soon to be graduate of Sheridan College. The painted cast is titled ‘lionhearted’ and will be auctioned off along side the artists of the Lifetime Collective. More of Melodie’s work can be viewed at www.melodiepapp.blogspot.com..
